Transitional Housing  ASAM Level III.I

The transitional housing program will provide a sober, residential, therapeutic living environment for the client who requires a residential level of care based on the client's evaluation.  Clients who reside in the transitional housing program will also be required to attend LEVEL I or LEVEL II.I  Outpatient Substance Abuse Programs.

All clients will be required to attend 5x 12-Step Support Groups i.e. Alcoholics Anonymous  Narcotics Anonymous per week.  The substance abuse program will utilize an on-site laboratory to randomly test clients for drug/alcohol abuse.
 

Admission Requirements:

  • Recommend six [6] months commitment for admission;
  • The individual must be 18 years of age or older;
  • The client must be physically, emotionally and behaviorally capable of functioning in a residential setting;
  • Client is not a danger to himself or to others;
  • Abstained from alcohol and/or drug use at least seventy-two [72] hours prior to admission;
  • Client must be medically stable.

 

[IOP] Intensive Outpatient  ASAM Level II.I

This program is appropriate for individuals, employed or unemployed, who are trying to be drug and alcohol free and are medically stable.  The Intensive outpatient Program [IOP] accepts self referrals from other facilities, including the court system.  Priority is given to individuals who have a desire to live and become alcohol and chemically free.

    Admission Requirements:

  • Recommend for minimum 4x for [4] weeks commitment for admission;
  • The individual must be 18 years of age or older;
  • The client must be physically emotionally and behaviorally capable of functioning in a group setting;
  • Client is not a danger to himself or to others;
  • Abstained from alcohol and/or drug use at least seventy-two [72] hours prior to admission (Will be assessed by clinical staff for admission if less than 72 hours alcohol/drug free);
  • Client must be medically stable.

 

Any individual with ongoing medical problems, including dual diagnosis, may be accepted provided that they are addressing these problems with outside professional help, including medication management. 

All cases of questionable admission shall be reviewed by the Program Director or designee.  Client and referral sources can contact the main office for fees and/or bed availability.

 

Admission Process
1.  When you call, you will speak with an Admissions representative who will guide you through a brief, confidential telephone assessment.
 
2.  Once the assessment is completed, the Admissions representative will direct you to the next available Admissions Counselor at our facility or elsewhere.  If the Counselor recommends treatment at Tangu, he or she will book a date for you to come in.
 
3.  Your Admissions Counselor will then review with you what to bring and be available to answer any other questions you may have prior to your arrival at Tangu transitional housing facility.
